The Sailfish pays tribute to the majestic fish, which is the fastest living sea creature with recorded speeds of up to 68 mph. The design of watch itself draws upon influences dating back as far as 70 years!
It's handset is influenced by one that was used for one of the earliest dive watches, a watch made by Longines for the Royal British Navy in the early 40s. The other unmistakable influence is that of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms with its beautiful cambered Sapphire bezel inlay.
The Prometheus Sailfish is powered by a Seiko Time Module NH36/4R36 movement carrying with it a long history of tradition and precision by Seiko Corporation. The movement can be manually wound, hacks, has 24 jewels and beats at 21,600 vibrations per hour or 3 Hz.
Features include a domed sapphire crystal bezel. The watch is available in four different combinations: a black dial with a black bezel, a blue dial with a blue bezel, a yellow dial with a black bezel and a grey dial with a black bezel.
The curvy watch case will be constructed from 316L Stainless steel and will measure 43 x 52mm with a 22mm lug width. Its water-resistance will be 300 meters. Pre-order pricing is as follows:
