KAVENTSMANN TriggerFish AL7075

By TLex There's bad ass, then there's Kaventsmann! This über-cool military prototype watch is the latest project to come from the one-man workshop of maverick watchmaker, Michael Fernandez, owner and founder of the Kaventsmann Watches, Germany.

The Kaventsmann 'TriggerFish AL7075' is constructed from Aluminum alloy 7075, which has been 'hard-anodized' giving it its dark golden-brown sandy finsih and tones. It was commissioned by some folks from the U.S Special Forces Airborne Division based at Fort Bragg, NC. Their insignia along with the motto of the United States Army Special Forces, 'De Opresso Liber' meaning - to free the oppressed has been engraved on its caseback.

It has been successfully pressure tested by K.U.M. to 300bar, the equivalent of 3000m of water-resistance, making it the deepest mechanical wristwatch with an Aluminum case construction (to my knowledge)!
