CREPAS cayman 3000 UPDATE

By TLex Anyone, who has previously ordered one of Crepas Watches' limited edition divers will know that they take a lot of time and care with the kit that they supply with them with including its many accessories. Since its announcement at the end of last year Crepas have been busy developing two custom straps for the cayman 3000, itself just a few short months away from its shipping date.

JACOB Crepas have once again teamed up with fellow countryman and master strap-maker, Jacob of Jacob Straps to create something for the cayman 3000 that is as sporty is it is elegant. The handmade, hand-stitched strap is constructed from high-quality (crocodile pattern) calf-skin. It has been designed to work with Crepas Watches' ISOfrane-style divers buckle making it the perfect onshore strap for offshore lovers! The strap will be available to purchase separately.

NYLON Crepas usually ship their diver with 2 or 3 Natos or Zulus - This time round something different was required for the cayman 3000 owing to its great thickness. This ultimately lead Crepas to develop their own custom nylon strap. The two piece Zulu-style strap is made using two layers of bonded and stitched nylon. It is fitted with a solid Stainless steel ‘Crepas’ signed buckle and is attached with a screw bar. The custom strap has two keepers: one keeper is fixed and in Steel and one is movable and in nylon.

Features of the cayman 3000 include: a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 TOP, 3000m WR, an ultra domed Sapphire crystal, anti-magnetic shield, a decorative Sapphire coin-edge caseback cover, a bead-of-rice bracelet with two clasps, a ceramic dial, an inclined Sapphire crystal bezel insert, and a custom design nylon strap.

It is available for 760Euros during the time of its manufacturing. The watches will be shipped in late March or beginning April. All Crepas Watches are limited edition, when a design is sold out the only way to get one watch is the resale markets, usually on watch forums!

TEST The CREPAS cayman 3000 was successfully pressure tested in Germany by K.U.M. in Kiel up to 400bar, the equivalent of 4000meters of water-resistance!
