By TLex Introducing the new PATTON Harken P42R Regatta watch, a collaborative effort between the French watchmaker, Patton and Harken. Designed for pleasure boaters, in particular regatta racers and sailors.
HARKEN tasked PATTON Watches with developing an analogue regatta watch, to meet the demands of sailing enthusiasts.
The two brands, renowned in the world of pleasure boating through their many nautical events, jointly developed the watch's technical specifications - drawing on advice from professional sailors thus enabling them to produce a proficient nautical watch packed with all the features required for regatta racing.
The watch was designed not only to be functional, but also attractive in its design and able to be worn in all circumstances!
Watch features include: 2 dial colors; black or brushed steel, a bead blasted, Titanium effect, 316L Stainless steel case, a water resistance of 100 meters, a screw-down crown and caseback, 2 straps; integrated rubber or nautical leather.
Further features include: a countdown adjustable (according to departure) procedure: 10mn, 6mn, 5mn or other, a second and third chance, if first or second answering pennant missed, automatic zeroing in case of general recall, a countdown and departure with buzzer, automatic timing after departure and alarm.
I'm not a sailor so I haven't got a scooby doo (clue) what those regatta timing specs. were about, but the watch looks very nice. Happy sailing!
