By TLex This is the NumeroZero by Gruppo Ardito of Italy, the same fastidious team behind the Professional SAT Divers Project ALTOFONDALE.
This time with a watch that (subtly) draws inspiration from its Italian neighbors: Anonimo, Ennebi and Panerai - combing artisan aesthetics with homemade engineering into a desirable and capable looking diver.
Its triple layer case is in 316L Stainless steel with a bead blasted finish. Its diameter 46mm with a thickness 18.5mm.
It is fitted with a 4mm tempered glass crystal and a large custom screw down crown. The top bezel is secured via 3 hex bolts; its caseback with 4 allowing it a water-resistance of 1220 meters.
Its dial, a textured sandwich-type is in two colors: metallic green or metallic copper with a lumed bottom level and gold text and GA logo (between 10 and 11) on its upper level.
The dial fitted is fitted with a set of brass semi-skeletonized sword hands with luminous material. These are driven by a Swiss made ETA 2824-2 automatic movement.
Finally the watch comes on a handmade rubber divers strap with an Ennebi-style buckle plus an additional bead-blasted Milanese mesh bracelet, presented in a handmade wooden box.
The NumeroZero has unmistakable Italian flair with toolish workshop charm – I'm in LOVE!
