Its black dial is characterized by Cavenago’s signature square hour markers with a GMT scale in red Arabic numerals. An arrowhead time-zone indicator is also in red while its base is in the same black color as the dial; creating the illusion that only the arrowhead itself is moving around the dial. In this way, the second time-zone becomes even easier to read whilst keeping the watch design minimal and efficient. A date aperture is at 3 o’clock with white numbers on black.
The Subcrew GMT’s 44mm case is in Stainless steel with a brushed PVD finish. Divers features include: a flat Sapphire crystal, a screwdown crown and solid steel caseback, a unidirectional rotating divers bezel with 24hr time-scale and 300 meters of water-resistance. Each Subcrew GMT has been individually pressure tested in Switzerland.
The crown is signed with the Cavenago logo and the case back sports deep engraved: Cavenago brand name around its perimeter, a Subcrew logo, the watch’s main specifications (300 meters water resistant and GMT function) as well as the production year and its LE number. The Subcrew GMT is powered by a reliable Swiss made ETA 2836 automatic caliber with modified GMT function.
Swiss SuperLuminova has been applied to the watch’s hands, markers and unidirectional divers bezel for enhanced time reading even in darkness. It comes on a black carbon fiber leather strap with double-deployante buckle, adding an elegant yet sporty touch to the watch. Each watch has been hand-assembled in Switzerland.
