By TLex Here's another beautiful Tudor reinterpretation of one of their models from the past. Inspired by the 1973 sports chronograph, nicknamed 'Montecarlo' by collectors and aficionados, the Heritage Chrono Blue combines the royal blue of the historical version with light gray and orange to give the watch cool aqua-sports look that's perfect for summer!
Its opaline white dial features three-dimensional beveled hour-markers that have been filled with a luminescent material. The Heritage Chrono Blue is also distinguished by its two counters framed by matte blue trapeze-shaped surrounds: there is one for the small seconds at 3 o'clock another for the 45-minute counter at 9 o'clock.
The watch is powered by a Tudor 2892 caliber with approx. 42-hour power reserve, Its functions include: hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph and date (6 o'clock)
Its 42mm Stainless steel case has a combination polished and satin-brushed finish. Its is fitted with a scratch-resistant Sapphire crystal and a bi-directional rotational bezel (48 positions) with a blue insert marked out with 12-hour graduations for dual-time reading. It is water-resistant to 150m (15atm /500ft).
The watch comes with a steel bracelet with folding clasp plus an additional NATO strap in blue, grey and orange fabric with a steel buckle.
