By TLex Here are the first images of the Series One production watch from British watch company, OceanArc, based near the maritime city of Bristol, England.
The uniquely designed Series One divers’ watch features: a black DLC coated, Stainless steel case fitted with a tough anti-reflective Sapphire crystal and housing a robust Swiss ETA 2824 automatic movement. It has a water-resistance of 500m.
The Series One’s complex design is so, so that it can stand out from the crowd. Aesthetically distinctive and with many fine details, there is no mistaking it for anything else!
I have made comparisons to Alain Silberstein’s watches before, but feel the Series One is a little less whimsical and perhaps slightly more serious in its design. One cool feature of the watch is that luminous material has been inlay-ed into its crown.
In fact a number of SuperLuminova compounds were used for the watch’s hands, dial, crown and bezel markings. The watch comes on a black stingray leather strap, but also will be provided with an additional Ted Su rubber divers strap with Ted Su's famous clasp in DLC.
