By TLex Swarovski have re-released their OCTEA Abyssal Diver! Actually the watch appears to be exactly the same as the one released last March except for one tiny yet pertinent little detail. Swarovski have had the good sense to remove their Swan logo from the dial (it looked wrong) - bravo!
Its 44mm Stainless steel case features a black ceramic bezel and an AR-coated Sapphire crystal. It has a water resistant of 200 meters -
er, not exactly abyssal is it! Whilst I'm on the subject can everyone stop naming their dive watches abyss and abyssal, please. The abyssal zone is from 4000 to 6000 meters not 200m!
Back to the watch (which I really do like). It is powered by a Swiss made ETA caliber 2824-2 automatic movement with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours.
The watch comes on either a rubber divers strap with an embossed 'Swan' motif, a silver-colored Aluminum and Stainless steel bracelet with 6 black ceramic crystals (above) or a black sharkskin strap.
