By TLex JeanRichard have unveiled a smart new AQUASCOPE model. Available in either a polished stainless steel or black PVD-coated case, the new diver is constructed from a single piece of steel. Its cushion-shaped case measures 44.50mm x 40mm and has a thickness of 11.85 mm. It is water-resistant to 300 meters.
The watch is fitted with both an external aluminum bidirectional divers bezel as well as an internal bezel, which is operable via the screw-down crown at 9 o'clock. It is presented on a black natural rubber divers strap. Under the hood is a 21 jewel JR60 Self-winding caliber with a power reserve of 42 hours. I love the contrast of the grey aluminum bezel against the black PVD-coated case, but wonder how well it well hold up over time?
