H2O Watches ORCA Mono OceanicTime SE

By TLex Introducing the long awaited ORCA Mono OceanicTime Special Edition by H2O Watches of Germany.

Sleek and stealthy, the Mono OceanicTime SE has maintained its minimalist aesthetic whilst incorporating a number of special details and finishing touches such as the OceanicTime diver logos on its caseback and dial, which glow blue in the dark.

Or its DLC treated (in Germany) H2O Orca Mono case with its unique (stealth bomber meets the Rolex DSS) design.

Whilst the watch isn’t a 'dive watch' per se (it lacks a timing bezel); with its 2000 meters of water-resistance, officially certified by an independent German testing laboratory, its 'super dome' Sapphire crystal and contrasting matte black hour hand with its chromed silver minute hand, it is without question a watch for divers!

Special features of the ORCA Mono OceanicTime Special Edition include:

* DLC coated (in Germany) Mono outer case and Orca inner case and crown

* semi-gloss black dial with OceanicTime diver icon in BGW9 SuperLuminova

* BGW9 SuperLuminova applied chromed dial markers

* black hour hand, chromed minute and second with BGW9 SuperLuminova

* Swiss ETA 2824 automatic movement

* Sapphire crystal caseback with OceanicTime diver icon in BGW9 SuperLuminova

* 4mm high 'super dome' Sapphire crystal

* Horween Shell Cordovan leather strap with OceanicTime diver icon on keeper

* black DLC coated (in Germany) H2O Orca buckle

* black DLC coated (in Germany) H2O Orca bracelet (optional)

SMITHS 200m Automatic DIVER PRS-68

By TLex An old British watchmaking name meets a quirky Japanese design from the 1970s. Timefactors have released the PRS-68 AKA the Smiths 200m Automatic Diver, which pays homage to the Seiko 6105-8110, the design which will be instantly recognizable to Seiko aficionados.

Time factors have improved upon the watch's specifications which includes: a water-resistance of 200 meters (the original had a WR of 150m), a screwdown crown (the original had a bayonet locking crown), a Sapphire crystal (the original had a mineral crystal) and a Japanese Miyota 9015 automatic caliber made by Citizen! It's a great movement, but am I the only one who finds that a little odd!
