By TLex BAMFORD Watch Department and Fragment have unveiled the fruits of their latest collaborative effort. The new 'Fragment 3,6,9' Rolex Submariner with: Arabic numerals 3,6,9, Fragment logo as well as a red text, triangular 12hr bezel marker and a circular second hand pointer.

I'm not sure that I quite like Arabic numerals on a Sub - looks kinda weird to me, but loving the red details. ;)
By TLex Breitling have revamped and redesigned the Avenger line of professional diving instruments, so that the watches are now even more technical, functional and sophisticated. Key areas for improvement of the Avenger family were security and reliability.

However the watches still retain much of the DNA from the previous Avenger line. The new case shape although slimmer and more ergonomically designed harkens to the previous line, and details such as the famous knurled crowns and pushers and military-type stenciled numerals are still present.

The new Avenger II collection comprises four models: The new Avenger II GMT, with its extremely practical and readable second timezone display in 24-hour mode, a bi-directional rotational bezel serving to read off a third time zone, as well as a water-resistance of 300m (1,000 ft).

The Avenger models are available in several dial colors, with stencil-type numerals or hour-markers, on a rubber strap or on the new Professional bracelet with redesigned links. They are all equipped with mechanical self-winding movements chronometer-certified by the C.O.S.C, the highest industry benchmark in terms of precision and reliability – and the only one based on an international norm.
By TLex Swiss watch manufacturer, Formex have developed an all new divers collection, specially optimized for amateur divers.

It's been a while since I have seen any new divers models released by Formex, certainly nothing new has caught my attention in the last 5yrs. This one looks pretty great. It has a very technical feel to it.

Formex do currently have a divers collection, but the watches are powered by Quartz calibers (I believe). The new DS2100 watches are mechanical.

The Lengnau based, watch company are known for their patented active case suspension system, which allows larger cased watches to ride comfortably on the wrist. Much like the suspension on any vehicle I would imagine.

Water-resistant to 200 meters, the DS2100 is equipped with this patented case suspension system as is customary for Formex timepieces. It is a shame though, that the watch couldn't have a had another 100m of WR as 200m is very much entry level.

The new Formex diver collection debuts under the designation DS2100. The 'DS' initials are used by Formex for all watches that are intended for use in water. They have two other categories for Land and Air.

The black dial with a three-day date display is particularly legible thanks to extra-large luminescent hour markers in a red ring. I know not everyone appreciates this type of date aperture, but it works well with the overall look of the watches.

A large Sapphire crystal protects the deep-set dial. Thanks to its color accents, the watch dial should provide excellent functionality. The dial is available in four color variants: black, blue, black with red or black with white.

With a diameter of 46.5mm, the DS2100 is pretty large watch. However as mentioned earlier it utilizes a suspension system designed for comfort.

Its prominent case is crafted from Stainless steel and Titanium and has a screw-down crown. It has all of the features that a diver would expect of such a watch.

The unidirectional rotating divers bezel has been designed to be easy to operate even with a divers glove. It has some nicely pronounced coin-edging.

The DS2100 is powered by a self-winding, ETA 2824-2 caliber that can be admired through an exhibition case back. They come with either a divers rubber or leather strap or a Titanium-steel bracelet with a divers safety clasp.

The DS2100 watches are pretty cool looking. For more info. on Formex and their watch technologies follow the link embedded below.
